Payment Protection
Know where your money is at every step.
Wlbr protects your payment from funding through to release.

The buyer funds the payment, the seller can see that it is there, and the funds remain held until the agreed outcome is complete and both parties approve their release.
How your payment is protected
Funding it isn’t the same as releasing it.
Wlbr separates the point where a buyer commits the funds from the point where a seller receives them.
That gives both sides something they don’t get with a direct transfer: certainty before the deal is complete.
The buyer knows the funds haven’t gone straight to the seller. The seller knows the agreed payment is already there.
Nobody has to take the first risk.

Control over release
Both parties approve beforethe funds move.
Only approved funds move. The rest stays put.

Once the funds are in Wlbr, they don’t automatically move to the seller.

They stay held until the agreed work, service, milestone, or handover is complete and the release is approved.

For a single payment, the agreed amount is released when the deal is complete.

For milestone payments, only the approved stage is released.
Built for trust
Protection you can actually follow.

Dedicated client trust account

Held separately
Your payment doesn’t become Wlbr’s money.
When a payment is funded, the money doesn’t go straight to the seller or become part of Wlbr’s operating funds.
It is held on trust in a dedicated NZD client trust account at BNZ until there is an agreed reason for it to move.
This keeps client funds separate from the money Wlbr uses to operate its business.

Bank-to-bank payments

Bank-to-bank payments
From your bank. Straight into protection.
The buyer makes a bank-to-bank payment through their own banking environment using Akahu open banking.
The funds move from the buyer’s bank account into Wlbr’s dedicated client trust account, where they are held until both parties approve their release.

Funds freeze during a dispute
Funding secures the payment. Approval releases it.

Independent backstop
